My Reputation

By Zak S

I have a reputation for being a joker and fooling around in class. A lot of teachers know me because I get in trouble a lot for wrestling and talking in class. Almost every teacher that has stopped me to gives me a lecture about what’s right and what’s not.  There are a lot of stories that I have, but the one that I like the most, happened in sixth grade.  My math and science teacher was my teacher for homeroom and first and second period. My reputation was the coolest, weirdest, funniest and riskiest sixth grader in that class.

One day we were changing seats, when she put me in the front of the class surrounded by three girls.  She thought that if i wasn’t surrounded by guys, I wouldn’t fool around.  But she was wrong.  I was doing my work quietly when the girls were laughing. The teacher thought it was me making them laugh since I’m a funny guy.  She yelled at me for that, but I told her it wasn’t me.

After I moved to the front, I didn’t change seats again. During sixth grade I was yelled at almost for the whole year.   Getting yelled at was annoying at first, but I got used to hearing her big voice.

During the next two years, I haven’t been yelled as much.   I’m not as hyper as I  was in sixth grade.  As I got older and hairier, I just started to get a bit more mature.  I was still yelled at, but less than I was in sixth grade.
